A’s Match Report

Hi All,

Last Saturday we hosted SHOCs at home. A crucial clash for our finals chances and plenty of motivation playing our crosstown neighbours.

Unfortunately, we failed to deliver and were outplayed for most of the game. In the end were defeated by 69 points.

We started pretty well, kicking the first goal of the game but failed to impact the scoreboard after half time (4.4 at half time) to finish goalless in the 2^nd half and only able to add a further 7 points in the 2^nd half.

Frustratingly, the key stats in the game were quite even and we led some areas. However, once again we failed to execute our skills and couldn’t finish our work with a number of easy goals missed.

Regarding our finals chances, mathematically, we can still make finals but now rely on other results which is also tough.

This week we travel our to Athelstone to take on the ‘Raggies’, the have had a wonderful season and we will need to be at our very best to beat them. However, we have a lot to play for and will throw everything at our final home and away game of the year.

Have a great week all,

Minnas
