A’s Match Report​

Hi All,

Last Saturday was tough that’s for sure. We ventured out to Henley and were beaten comprehensively (84 points).

I didn’t coach as I was struck down with the flu. To be laid down in bed and getting score updates that were getting worse and worse wasn’t exactly the remedy I was looking for.

I’d like to thank assistant coaches Mark Schutz and Darcy Springhall for stepping in and taking the reigns in my absence.

‘Whats going on?’ is the question I have been asked often this week and it is the question we have been asking ourselves.

Firstly, its not panic stations yet. We are still 5^th on the ladder and only 2 weeks ago we had a 103 point victory. Personnel, game plan or structure hasn’t changed, we are just off our game.

I am extremely confident we can respond. We had a great meeting and training session last night has the group back on the same page and we cannot wait to take on North Haven on Saturday.

Opportunity awaits our group and I would suggest we will see at least a couple of debutants in the A grade this week which is exciting!

A big day at the club when we take on North Haven in a triple header, our C and B grade are going so well and as mentioned above the A grade lads will be fired up to make amends for a bad couple of weeks.

Also, Saturday is ladies day at the club, a great day for a the PHOS ladies to enjoy watching the footy and socialising.
